Breaking: Kinesis' US Bank Account at TD Bank Will Be Closed on February 28, 2023
Kinesis customers received an e-mail earlier today warning them that Kinesis' US bank account will be "deactivated" on February 28, 2023
US customers of the Kinesis Monetary System now join European customers in being asked to direct their wire transfers to Indonesia or Australia in order to make deposits to Kinesis’ Cayman Islands based cryptocurrency exchange.
We would like to notify the Kinesis community that from the 28th of February 2023, the US-based bank account handling USD deposits on the Kinesis platform, TD Bank, will be deactivated.
Any user wishing to deposit their USD on the Kinesis platform should direct their funds to our Indonesian or Australian accounts via SWIFT transfer.
While we understand that this change may cause a temporary inconvenience to our users, we have decided to source more favourable banking providers for the Kinesis community to alleviate the current market conditions.
Kinesis is soon to launch a more reliable depositing solution to better accommodate USD transfers into the Kinesis Monetary System.
